Amy JorgensenAmy L Jorgensen specializes in developing a digital presence and consumer engagement strategies for brand awareness and customer acquisition. She has developed marketing strategies and directed implementation for the University of Virginia, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, University of Florida, and Walt Disney World. Amy has a B.S. in Business Marketing from the University of Florida and is a University of Florida MBA Candidate. She now lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with her Basset Hounds, Chauncey Billups & Priscilla Presley.
Todd is director of social media at University of Florida. He’s responsible for overseeing a university wide social media strategy across all internal units and platforms and supervising a central social media team. He’s a fan of the Green Bay Packers, reality TV, and bacon.
Amanda is the social media coordinator at Utah State, where she directs the university’s social media communications on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. She also provides guidance and leadership to social media managers across campus and oversees university-wide strategic social media campaigns.
Skylar is a digital media specialist with a background in journalism and social media. She has worked to create multi-channel marketing campaigns for The Daily Targum, the Rutgers Schools of Social Work and Communication, Targum Publishing Company, and most recently, the University of Virginia. At UVA, Skylar launched and produces content for a central university Snapchat account, UnivofVirginia, manages all of the other UVA social media accounts, and cultivates a community of Social Media Managers for which she provides regular training workshops.
@NikkiSunstrum is the Director of Social Media for the University of Michigan, where she is responsible for innovating the way in which one of the world’s top Universities strategically leverages and advances interactive communications. A recognized leader in the development and evaluation of emerging social platforms, her early adoption and proactive engagement on Snapchat and Yik Yak have become leading best practice examples globally. Prior to assuming her current role Nikki developed and coordinated the State of Michigan’s statewide social media footprint. Reinventing constituent engagement, elevating transparency and establishing Michigan has a trailblazer and leader for government social communications.
Ryan Maguire is an award-winning social media professional with a background in television news. Ryan works with Princeton’s communication leaders and community members to create successful strategies and shareable content on behalf of the University through social media. He first gained professional social media experience at 13 WHAM News in Rochester, New York, and at NBC Philadelphia before helping lead social media efforts for three years at his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Delaware. During this time, Ryan earned his master’s degree from Drexel University, completing his thesis, Social Media and the Local Television News Audience, shortly before joining Princeton in 2014.
Krista Smith is the manager of digital marketing and social media in the Division of Marketing & Communications at Texas A&M University. Krista works to curate the digital presence of the university to grow the Texas A&M brand and provides strategic direction for the university’s social media program. She has built and managed content and campaigns across Texas A&M’s social media platforms, leading to the university consistently being recognized as one of the most engaging and influential universities online.
Krista holds a B.A. in Communication from Texas A&M and an MBA with a concentration in marketing from the University of Houston.
