Please join me in officially welcoming Kim Brown, director of strategic communications and digital engagement in Syracuse University’s Office of Alumni Engagement, to the Higher Ed Live family. Kim joins Andrew Gossen as co-host of Advancement Live, which airs every other Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Kim enjoys being a connector and finding new ways to foster relationships using social media. Prior to joining Syracuse’s alumni office, Kim oversaw alumni programs in Syracuse University’s Career Services office. Kim started her career as a television news reporter and is looking forward to keeping those skills fresh as host of Advancement Live.

Kim will be a familiar face to loyal viewers of Advancement Live. She’s guest-hosted recent episodes including:

Advancement Live focuses on topics in alumni engagement and fundraising. Kim and Andrew are recognized thought leaders in higher ed and provide insights into the challenges that confront today’s working professionals. They will interview practitioners, thought leaders, and others who can provide unique perspectives on issues and trends in this ever-changing industry.
