If you managed to make it to Austin, Texas last week for HighEdWeb 2011 one of the many things you got to experience was Marv, the Mobile Automated Research Vehicle owned and operated by WelcometoCollege.com. Welcome to College, founders of an innovative web-based application that supports and empowers the college visit experience, use the converted 1973 RV to visit campuses, collect students stories and testimonials, and ultimately help prospective students find the right fit during their college search.
In a special episode of Higher Ed Live, we broadcasted from the parking lot outside the Austin Hyatt as attendees demoed Marv’s power and Bayer filled the audience in – both in person and online – on what Marv is really all about.
